Here are some highlights at a glance: • Projects in early planning reached a record 5,744 projects (nearly 800,000 rooms) up 10% in projects and 9% in rooms year-over-year. • Upscale (3,852 projects) and luxury (1,267 projects) segments are seeing unprecedented momentum. • The United States (6,280 projects) and China (3,733 projects) continue to lead globally. I spent the past two days on a remote Caribbean island alongside some of the very best in the business—visionaries in ultra-luxury resort development, master planners, and a renowned international architect. Together, we walked the land that will soon become an extraordinary project. We weren’t just looking at the site. We were searching for the “wow” factor—the essence that will make this the place everyone will talk about. We studied the ocean views, felt the Caribbean breeze, and traced the curves of the natural landscape and inspiring topography. Yes, like everyone, I sometimes get worn down by the daily grind—the Teams calls, the reports, the endless to-do lists. But moments like this? They remind me why it’s all worth it. I’m truly grateful to have a role in creating places that will inspire and delight people for generations to come.
