GRI rented rigging equipment to execute the lift of a condenser. Upon receiving the rigging, our team was fully prepared to move forward. However, our Supervisor, Taylor Thomas, took the extra step to personally inspect the rigging—despite it already being inspected and tested—and identified that the hook was bent. Taylor immediately stopped the work and ensured the proper rigging was procured to complete the lift safely. Taylor was recognized for his attention to safety by Deltech and continues to make us proud every day with his commitment to safety and his unwavering dedication to the well-being of his team and those around him.
