DMC in the Community – Here’s What We’ve Been Up To! In September, Team DMC hosted and joined several impactful community events. The Burn Teams at Detroit Receiving Hospital and Children's Hospital of Michigan welcomed survivors, families, first responders, and partners for the annual Burn Survivor Picnic. We partnered with Wayne County for the “Let’s Keep It Moving” luncheon and joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for a baby essentials drive and Community Baby Shower supporting local moms and moms-to-be. At Sinai-Grace Hospital, we also unveiled the Hero Tree to honor organ donors and their families.
