⚠️ You should know these WARNINGS and take caution in the fall. This applies to everyone but I did write it for the fishing and outdoors community. (this was not written with AI, I just like emoji's 😆) ✅️ Don't be fooled by warm days with chilly mornings and evenings! ⚠️ Ticks and mosquitoes are still out in most places. They carry diseases so plan ahead to deal with them. ⚠️ Take more clothes than you think you need.Things can easily happen that leave you vulnerable to hypothermia, even in mildly cool temptatures. You can always dress up or down with layers throught the day and be comfortable. ⚠️ Watch out for snakes 🐍 😵 this time of year. They blend in with the leaves and lay out in the sun for warmth. Don't think because your going on a boat you don't have to worry about them because they love pavement. Pavement holds heat even when the air is cooler so watch out at those boat ramps. ⚠️ As cooler weather approaches, your heart works harder. Don't over do it. ⚠️ Stay hydrated!? Yes, even though it feels better outside than hot summer heat 🥵 and you might not sweat, your at risk. The winds in fall will actually aid in dehydration, especially of your skin. ⚠️ You still need sun protection in the fall. ⚠️ Fill up those gas tanks and add fuel stabilizer. Fuel gels in cold temperatures and being stuck out on the water when its cold is miserable and dangerous. ⚠️ Check the dates, and condition, of your batteries in your vehicle, and boat, to ensure they are in good ahape and at full charge ahead of your fishing trip. Avaid getting stranded. Dont forget to use the correct antifreeze before winter and maintenance your vehicle. ⚠️ This is a pro tip you wont hear much. Dont leave home without a BIC lighter in your pocket. .. plus water proof matches in your first aid or survival kit. If the boat flips or sinks, you have a BIC in your pocket to start a fire and avoid hypothermia. (referrals for a BIC sponsorship are welcomed 🤣) ⚠️ Check to make sure your safety and first aid kits are stocked, up to date, and everything in it is in good condition. While our kids were out on fall break we decided to take a little trip and make Bass Pro Shops in Kodak, Tennessee part of our schedule. Our kids had a blast looking at all the wildlife inside and we look forward to stopping in again. #bassproshops #fishing
