"Each August, National Make-A-Will Month reminds us of one of the most important steps in planning for the future — creating a will. No matter where we are in the journey of life, it’s never too early to start planning." - Dan Wierzbowski, Associate Director of Planned Giving "Our diocese has partnered with FreeWill so that anyone can create a will for free during National Make-a-Will Month. This resource allows us to plan for the future while providing peace of mind for us and those we care about." Read the full story: https://lnkd.in/gqW5BBGU

"When Encountering Christ launched in 2018, Bishop Joe Vásquez had no idea that the $85 million capital campaign would one day serve as part of his legacy. Now the Archbishop of Galveston-Houston, he will forever be tied to the historic initiative to strengthen parishes and ministries in the Diocese of Austin." - Darci Swisher, Correspondent for the #catholicspirit "Seven years after it began, the Diocese of Austin is now wrapping up Encountering Christ. In total, $106,271,675 was raised — exceeding the $85 million goal — to meet the most pressing needs of the diocese in four areas: Supporting Our Clergy, Strengthening Parishes, Emerging Disciples and Embracing Discipleship."
