We had an incredible time cheering on the Air Force Falcons this past Saturday! The game ball was presented to Donor Alliance volunteer advocates Mike and Viola Hale of Colorado Springs, both lifesaving organ transplant recipients. Mike, a retired Chief Master Sergeant and 28-year Air Force veteran, received a liver in 2012, and Viola received a heart in 2019. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special day possible, and to our advocates and community members who continue to share the importance of organ, eye, and tissue donation. 💙💚

A big thank-you to everyone who stopped by our booth to learn more about the life saving and healing impact of organ, eye and tissue donation. Go Rams! Colorado State University

Every day at the DMV, Aris from Longmont, CO, asks if people would like to register as organ donors, knowing it can give someone more time with family, time to heal, time to live. “When my son got his permit, we talked about how important it is to be a donor,” Aris says. That conversation stuck with his son, Dominic. “To a person who might need a transplant, it’s everything," said Dominic. "It's more time with loved ones, and that’s really powerful.” This DMV Appreciation Week, we honor the everyday moments that create hope, healing, and more time with loved ones. 💙💚

When Cindy Corlett lost her daughter Molly, her world shattered. But even in the heartbreak, knowing that Molly saved five lives through organ donation became a source of healing. Molly had proudly checked the box when she got her license at 16. That one decision has kept her memory alive in the most meaningful way. Cindy honors her daughter’s selflessness and finds comfort in knowing that Molly’s legacy lives on in the lives she saved. One of those recipients is a mother of six. As Cindy puts it, “I think about those six children who get to wake up each morning with their mom thanks to Molly’s gift.” While the grief remains, knowing Molly saved lives has brought healing to Cindy and hope to the families who now get more time together. https://lnkd.in/gt89sstt
