Today, on World Mental Health Day, let's celebrate how our Dress for Success community has invested in more than their resume and style. This summer, 10 affiliates across the U.S. completed the first cohort of The Well-Being Project—an initiative sponsored by the Ulta Beauty Charity Foundation to strengthen resilience, confidence, and community connection. Over 13 sessions and trainings, clients participated in virtual workshops and in-person circles, supported by trauma-informed staff and volunteers. The results were powerful: 91% of participants reported increased confidence and resilience, and 93% reported improved physical health. With overwhelmingly positive feedback, Year 2 is already in the works! Thank you to Ulta Beauty for helping us uplift and support women’s mental health. Learn more about how you can support women achieve economic mobility and ignite their confidence at dressforsuccess.org. #UpliftedByUlta #TheWellBeingProject #UltaBeauty #WorldMentalHealthDay

How can we accept a wage gap that costs Latina workers 1.2 million dollars in a lifetime of work? We simply cannot. Today, on Latina Equal Pay Day, we are reminded that for the first time in 20 years the gap has widened instead of shrinking, showing just how urgent the fight for pay equity remains. The wage gap for Latinas is fueled by systemic issues including occupational segregation into low-wage jobs, workplace discrimination in hiring and pay, challenges tied to immigration status, and limited access to employer-sponsored benefits such as retirement plans and paid leave. Together, we can help close the gap. Support women’s economic mobility at dressforsuccess.org/donate.

Today, as we observe Native American Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of Native women and their vital role in our communities. Native American women in the United States are typically paid just 52 cents for every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men. Even among those working full time, year-round, Native women earn only 58 cents on the dollar. This wage gap costs Native women and their families nearly 63.5 billion dollars every year, limiting access to essentials such as childcare, education, health coverage, food, and housing. Despite these challenges, more than 64 percent of Native mothers are key breadwinners, providing for their families and building stronger communities. By closing the wage gap, we can unlock economic opportunity, security, and prosperity for Native women and their families. Together, we can make change happen.
