Last week, DTE retiree Bob Wesp, his daughter Professor Heather Wesp, and 25 biology students from Montcalm Community College joined DTE Energy’s Tyler Gage for a behind-the-scenes tour of our Six Lakes Natural Gas storage facility. Heather, who spent three summers working at Six Lakes as a student, used the visit to help her class connect textbook learning with real-world energy operations. Special thanks to DTE’s Workforce Development team for coordinating this experience and helping bring classroom concepts to life. We’re proud to support the next generation of talent through hands-on learning and career exploration in Michigan’s energy sector.

DTE is celebrating National Drive Electric Month by educating our residential and business customers about the benefits they can realize when switching to an electric vehicle – including thousands of dollars in fuel maintenance costs over the lifetime of the vehicle.
