Meet Dr. Brett Hurliman, pediatrician at Duly's Tinley Park and Lockport clinics. 👋 For him, pediatrics is all about building trusting relationships with children and their families. “Being a pediatrician allows for the unique experience of caring for both a patient and their family. I want to help parents find the joy in raising their children and watch kids grow right alongside them.” Dr. Hurliman explains that no two days look the same — from well-child visits and sports physicals to treating colds and flu in the winter, he values the variety his work brings. Patience and empathy are the skills he finds most critical, helping put children at ease and reassuring parents during each visit. He encourages anyone considering pediatrics to reflect on their “why,” as the field requires adaptability, problem-solving, and a lot of heart, but offers meaningful and rewarding relationships in return.
