A few exciting things to share! First, a huge thank you to the incredible team at Apreo Health. I’m deeply grateful to have been part of the Apreo journey - learning the true value of building needs-first medical devices alongside a world-class team, and building friendships I’ll always carry with me. I can’t wait to see the enormous impact Apreo will have on the world. A special thank you to my team, Karun, and The Foundry for welcoming me back to Menlo Park and into the Apreo family. I’m very thankful for all of your support and mentorship. I’m delighted to begin a new and exciting chapter, returning to Atmo Biosciences in a US Strategy & Operations role, based in San Francisco. I am excited to be helping launch the Atmo Gas Capsule in the US. I’m very grateful to Malcolm and the Atmo team for the opportunity to be part of this journey. After an amazing month training with the team in Melbourne, Australia, I’m now heading to San Diego for the AdvaMed MedTech Conference (MTC), thanks to the generous support of Diversity by Doing (DxD) HealthTech. Huge thanks to Claudine, Ingrid, and the DxD team for the opportunity! If you’ll be at the conference, I’d love to connect.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities that Diversity by Doing (DxD) HealthTech has provided to me, here’s a few things I have been up to for the last year, all thanks to the incredible support of the community behind Diversity by Doing: Last year, I was fortunate to be part of one of the largest medical device conferences in the world: MedTech Con by AdvaMed. I enjoyed having the chance to learn from professionals, engage in interesting conversations about increasing diversity and accessibility in health and technology, and network with people across all departments of the HealthTech industry. One of my highlights from the conference was to meet Olympus passionate team during the MedTech Color Breakfast. I’m very excited for what this year’s conference has in store for all of us! During the summer, I also had the chance to participate in DxD’s HealthTech Exploration Workshop designed for interns in medical device companies to continue exploring career pathways in the industry, learn about Biodesign from past fellows of the Stanford Mussallem Center for Biodesign and strengthen our networking skills. DxD has also provided me with opportunities to volunteer and continue to grow the Medtech community by supporting students from underrepresented backgrounds: For instance, I was part of the judge panel for DxD’s Health Innovation for Underrepresented Populations program for High School students. This experience allowed me to share what I have learned about Biodesign and accessibility with other students. I encouraged them to keep working hard, smart, and focusing con creating empathetic solutions. Shoutout to Rene Canady for motivating young minds and creating a detailed program that inspires the next generation to propel patient centric designs. In addition, I was happy to support this year’s Pathways in Health and Technology cohort. I attended two sessions and I was truly inspired and amazed by both their personal and professional growth. As an ambassador for the Pathways program, I am continuing to encourage students to become part of the DxD community through all the programs, events, and opportunities offered. I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity of being part of such an amazing community that continues inspiring me to advocate for health equity, accessibility of medical technologies for underserved communities, and women's health research. Thank you, Claudine Joseph, Ingrid Ellerbe, and everyone part of DxD for making dreams and opportunities possible.
