You can now use 200+ MCPs directly inside E2B sandbox. When you spin up a sandbox, you can instantly give your agent access to real-world tools like ✴️Processing payments with Stripe ✴️Managing GitHub repos ✴️Updating Notion pages ✴️Scraping web with Browserbase ✴️Fetching data from arXiv / Wikipedia / YouTube... All you do is pick which MCPs you want to run. E2B partnered with Docker, Inc for making agents useful. 🤝 Groq, Genspark, and others are already testing this.💡 Build something cool with MCPs in your sandbox, tag E2B & we’ll boost the best projects.
Big step for AI development.🫡 Read about how we partnered with Docker to provide MCPs inside E2B Sandboxes. Try it here: http://e2b.dev/docs/mcp
Most AI agents can act. Few can be trusted. Today, Docker and E2B are partnering to make AI development safe, scalable, and ready for the real world. Together, we’re making it safe and seamless to build agents that connect to hundreds of real-world tools, powered by Docker’s MCP Gateway and E2B’s secure sandboxes. Now, developers have a trusted foundation to build and run AI agents. The next era of trusted AI starts here. Read more from Docker's Mark Cavage & Tushar Jain:
We’ve partnered with Docker to bring official MCP support into E2B Sandboxes. Developers can now use 200+ verified MCPs — including tools like GitHub, Stripe, Notion, Browserbase, and more — directly inside secure, isolated environments. This makes it simple for agents to safely connect to the real world. Read more → e2b.dev/docs/mcp
AI development is moving from experimentation to production. That shift demands infrastructure that’s secure, standardized, and fast. Docker is excited to partner with E2B, a platform for running AI-generated code in secure cloud sandboxes. Through this partnership, developers using E2B sandboxes can now access Docker's MCP Catalog - giving developers access to a library of trusted MCP tools like GitHub, Perplexity, Browserbase, and ElevenLabs. Teams can build AI agents that connect to real-world tools without compromising security. This is a huge step toward a secure foundation for the next generation of AI development.
We’re launching the Build System 2.0 A new system, rewritten from the ground up, for building custom sandboxes. With focus on 4 clear goals: 1️⃣ Better DX 2️⃣ Agent-first experience 3️⃣ Speed 4️⃣ Painless Migration Learn more here 👇
Today, we're introducing the new Build System 2.0 for E2B. We've completely rebuilt how custom sandboxes are made from the ground up while being focused on 4 main goals: 1️⃣ Better DX 2️⃣ Agent-first experience 3️⃣ Speed 4️⃣ Painless Migration 💬 Get started in the comments section 1️⃣ Better DX Until now, creating a custom sandbox took a YAML config file, a Docker file, and running a terminal command. The DX was pain. Now, everything is just code. Want to build a custom sandbox with the premade Next.js app? That's about 7 lines of code. 2️⃣ Agent-first experience Because custom sandboxes are just code now, AI IDEs and agents like Cursor or Claude Code can parse, suggest, and generate them without any extra config. And it works extremely reliably. 3️⃣ Speed We moved the build step to our servers and the Build System 2.0 is now up to 14x faster. Making the feedback loop much friendlier. You should see pretty big improvements most of the times because our caching (that we can control thanks to moving to cloud) will kick in. 4️⃣ Painless Migration The new system is fully backwards compatible. On top of that, we added several migration paths for our users to make the migration as easy as possible. Update to the latest E2B CLI version and run `e2b template migrate` All this was built by our amazing engineers Jakub Dobry and Mish Ushakov. Together with feedback from our wonderful users which made all of this possible 🧡
