We are seeking a driven and experienced engineering leader to join our team as Project Engineering Group Manager. In this role, you will: Lead and develop a strong team of Project Engineers, Production Package Support, and Field Engineering staff. Drive engineering performance by setting and executing departmental objectives, monitoring metrics, and maintaining rigorous standards for process and quality. Work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional departments, manufacturing, production, and regulatory stakeholders. Oversee resource planning, budget and duration commitments, process improvements, and engineering deliverables for marine vessel projects. Cultivate a collaborative, accountable culture that emphasizes safety, smart work, and continuous improvement. Qualifications include: BS in Engineering (Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar) from an ABET-accredited institution (advanced degree preferred). Minimum 10 years of project engineering or project management experience, plus at least 5 years in a supervisory role. Demonstrated leadership of engineering teams (10+ people preferred), strong marine vessel design knowledge, regulatory familiarity, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. He says the best way to reinvigorate the workforce is through robust apprenticeship programs supported by a strong Jones Act and smarter government policies.
