Today marked the wrap-up of EBSCO’s summer intern program! We closed with a session where our interns shared their key takeaways, personal growth stories and highlights from the summer. It was inspiring to hear how much they’ve gained, and contributed, during their time with us. This transition will modernize services across all three of KU’s major library divisions: the main campus libraries, KU’s Wheat Law Library, and the A.R. Dykes Library at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. Carol E. Smith, Dean of KU Libraries, said, “Implementing FOLIO allows us to move away from traditional, siloed systems and toward a more open, interoperable infrastructure that better supports research, teaching and learning."
