If the 60,000 vending machines that serve Lance Snacks could talk, they’d have a great story to share. Instead, we’ll make it our responsibility. In 1913, Charlotte-based food broker Philip Lance took 500 lbs of unpurchased peanuts, roasted them and sold them for a nickel a bag. Thus was born one of the most iconic brands of the breakroom. #AllinNC

We’re proud to celebrate North Carolina being named America’s Top State for Business by CNBC! Here in Carteret County, we blend world-class marine research, coastal innovation, and waterfront industries to build a thriving, sustainable future. From boat building and marine science to sustainable fisheries and ocean technology, our coastal assets make us a key contributor to the state’s economic success. This traveling billboard, courtesy of our partners at the (Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC), is making its way across the state and we’re honored to showcase it right here on the waterfront that powers our region’s economic strength. #AllinNC #TopStateForBusiness #WhyNC

NC has once again been named the #1 state for business, and Boone is proud to play a part in that success! As part of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) celebration, a traveling billboard made its way to the High Country, just in time for peak week! 🍁 October showcases the full strength of Boone’s economy: where tourism, education, outdoor recreation and community meet. The billboard also made an appearance at our State of the Community Luncheon, where local leaders gathered to discuss Boone’s future, including updates on Boone Next, RISE Caldwell-Watauga, the connection between housing, childcare, and economic growth, and what's to come for the Boone Chamber in 2026. #AllinNC #TopStateForBusiness #WhyNC Boone’s melting pot of key industries reflects the same spirit that makes North Carolina a national leader. It’s no surprise North Carolina has been named CNBC’s #1 State for Business in America *again* this year. 🏆 Sometimes the best economic assets aren’t man-made — they’re right here in front of us. Stanly County is rich in the natural resources that make business growth possible: affordable land, clean air, and abundant water. These aren’t just features — they’re major advantages for companies looking to grow sustainably and efficiently. 🌊 From the beauty of Badin Lake and Lake Tillery ⛰️ Panoramic views at Morrow Mountain State Park 🛩️ Or the Stanly County Airport, a County-owned, joint civil-military, public-use airport We have it ALL: beauty unmatched and the lowest overall tax liability in the Charlotte Region. Here in Stanly County, we’re proud to be part of that story — where opportunity meets natural advantage. PS - who knew billboards could fly? 😉 Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) Charlotte Regional Business Alliance CHAMBER OF COMMERCE-STANLY CO #SuccessInStanly #EconomicDevelopment #NorthCarolina #BestStateForBusiness #Sustainability #BusinessGrowth #SiteSelection #EDPros
