  • Over 93% of EMERGE students graduate with less than $30,000 of debt—and more than 40% graduate completely debt-free. This is possible because selective colleges often meet full financial need for students from low-income communities, supported by large endowments and private funding. But accessing these opportunities takes more than just financial aid—it requires expertise, resources, support, and individualized advising. At EMERGE, we ensure high-achieving students get the support they need to attend and thrive at these top institutions. • 🎓 The Future Is Bright for our EMERGE Scholars! We're proud to celebrate Elizabell and Lilith, two standout members of EMERGE's Class of 2025 who are officially college-bound. Their hard work and determination have paved the way to incredible opportunities: 💙 Elizabell will be attending Harvard University this fall. "I am going to Harvard University in the fall, and what this means to me is the start of a future where I am not held back from my difficulties and disadvantages. It's a celebratory moment for everyone that invested in me—my mom, EMERGE staff, teachers, and my closest friends—to pursue higher education, and an opportunity for me to pursue the medical and law fields!" 💙 Lilith is headed to Bryn Mawr College. "As the eldest in my family, I felt the pressure of having the knowledge to share with my younger siblings. EMERGE allowed me to gain experiences like networking, mentorship, college readiness, and traveling to Connecticut. One of the biggest things EMERGE has helped me achieve was gaining a full-tuition scholarship to Bryn Mawr simply because they believed in me and my leadership. With EMERGE, I have been able to build a future that I am proud of and show my siblings that there is always a village waiting to help and welcome you." Help us celebrate their achievements in the comments! 💙 #EMERGEScholars #CollegeBound #ClassOf2025 #StudentSuccess #FutureLeaders

  • 📢 More top colleges are expanding financial aid — but affordability is only part of the equation. Harvard, Rice, Princeton, and Stanford are among a growing number of elite universities now covering tuition for families earning up to $200K. These efforts are meant to attract a broader range of talented students and reduce financial barriers to higher education. But even with these shifts, many qualified students are still missing out. 📊 Only 23% of high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds ever apply to selective colleges. Not because they're unqualified — but because they often lack the support and guidance needed to navigate a complex application process. That's where EMERGE comes in. ✅ We help students complete the FAFSA and CSS Profile ✅ Explore their full range of college options ✅ Apply with clarity and confidence ✨ 95% of EMERGE students apply to at least one selective college ✨ 42% graduate with zero student debt We believe students should have access to life-changing college opportunities — and the support to make them a reality. 🔗 Click the link to support EMERGE and help more students reach the colleges they deserve: https://bit.ly/3C9RpXQ #CollegeAccess #EMERGEScholars #AffordabilityAndAccess #FinancialAid #FutureLeaders #EducationMatters
