✨ 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 #𝐃𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐢, 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭! 🪔 Today across India, homes glow with thousands of lamps, symbols of hope, joy, and renewal. This cultural celebration of light over darkness and hope over adversity reminds us of the power of renewal and community. At Epic Foundation, we see that same light in the work of our incredible grantee partners on the ground in India who bring brightness to countless lives every day. This Diwali, we honor their impact: 🌟Antarang Foundation – guiding young people toward meaningful careers by creating inclusive pathways to opportunity and success. 🌟 Apnalaya - strengthening marginalized communities to lead healthier, more equitable lives. 🌟 Mann Deshi Foundation - supporting rural women, youth, and communities through education, entrepreneurship, and access to capital. 🌟 Prerana - empowering mothers in Mumbai’s red-light areas to end intergenerational trafficking and build lives of dignity, security, and opportunity. 🌟 SNEHA (Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action) - empowering women and girls in Mumbai’s informal settlements to improve health, strengthen communities, and create lasting change across generations. Just as one lamp can brighten a room, one act of generosity can ignite change. Join us in celebrating Diwali by supporting those who bring light where it’s needed most. 🔗 Learn more about our Indian grantees on the ground and donate here: https://lnkd.in/esjUBGid #Diwali2025 #festivaloflights

🌱 How can cities fight food insecurity and build a future grounded in #health, #equity, and #sustainability? This pressing question was at the heart of last week’s conversation at TheMerode, 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧,  an inspiring dialogue at the intersection of social justice and ecological transition, focused on building fairer food systems, an area of focus for us at Epic Foundation as we continue to support initiatives and leaders working to build healthier, more sustainable futures for all. Moderated by Pierre-Arnold CAMPHUIS 🌟, Benelux Director at Epic Foundation, the event brought together over 100 participants – foundations, NGOs, and philanthropists – all committed to rethinking how cities can make healthy and sustainable food accessible to everyone. 🎤 The discussion featured two remarkable changemakers, working in different cities, Brussels and London, but united by the same mission: creating a more sustainable and equitable food system. Aileen Thomson, Head of Philanthropy at The Felix Project – one of our grantees and London’s largest food redistribution charity – shared how her team rescues 16,000 tons of fresh food every year, providing nearly 40 million meals to underserved communities with the help of 13,000 volunteers. Amandine Englebert, CEO at 4WINGS Foundation, highlighted the work of Belgian organizations striving to make healthy food accessible to underprivileged families through community-driven innovation. The insights shared were both powerful and sobering: in England, more than 60% of teachers expect at least one student in their class to go hungry because their parents cannot afford to feed them – all while 6.4 million tonnes of edible food are wasted each year. 🌿 Each insight shared brings us closer to collective solutions that can make access to nutritious, sustainable food a reality for all.

  • ✨We are proud to see our ambassadors actively engaging with the nonprofits we support, creating links and connections that extend far beyond Epic and amplify the impact of our collective efforts. Anne Sophie Eyméoud’s unwavering efforts to give forward and make a tangible difference are a shining example of this commitment. Recently, she had the opportunity to visit one of our grantees in London, @The Felix Project, where she witnessed firsthand the incredible work they do: rescuing surplus food, redistributing it to communities in need, and contributing to a more sustainable future. ✨ Read more about her inspiring visit below ⬇️

The Felix Project London ! I had the privilege this week -thanks to Epic Foundation-, to visit the so inspiring The Felix Project. For nearly ten years, The Felix Project has been doing remarkable work across London : rescuing good-quality surplus food that would otherwise go to waste, and redistributing it to communities in need. In 2024 alone, they provided 38 million meals, redistributed : 15,846 tonnes of food, and impacted around 500,000 people every week. What impressed me most : • They help prevent food waste : instead of burning or discarding surplus food, it’s rescued and put to use ; • They improve food access : local communities receive nutritious, safe food instead of low-quality alternatives ; • They contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions : by diverting food from waste streams, they reduce the carbon footprint. (In 2024, their work avoided approx. 17,730 tonnes CO₂ emissions.) ; • They are powered by people : over 13,000 volunteers contributed more than 146,000 hours in 2024, alongside a committed staff team of more than 200 people. What makes The Felix Project especially inspiring is that their model is replicable. Any city facing food waste, food insecurity, and climate challenges could (and should!) adapt a similar approach : higher nutrition for vulnerable populations, reduced environmental impact, and stronger social cohesion. A heartfelt thank you to Epic Foundation, to Pierre-Arnold CAMPHUIS 🌟-Myriam Vander Elst Alexandre Mars Diane Mayer, and everyone involved in making this visit possible and a special thank you to Aileen Thomson, who guided us through the depots and kitchens. 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐀 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡.🤝 What happens when we take the time to truly invest in young people’s confidence? Last week, we had the honor of joining our grantee Generation France in their mission to support young people as they step into the professional world. We organized a morning of connection between the next generation of talent and our Epic community – stepping into Generation France’s shoes for a day to do what they do best: empower youth through market-driven training that boosts their employability and opens doors to new opportunities. The session began with inspiring words from the Epic team and alumni, setting the tone for what became a dynamic and engaging experience. Our Epic community then took on the role of mentors, guiding participants through 20-minute mock interviews and CV reviews, sharing practical advice, and helping them gain confidence for the working world. Every exchange was a reminder of the power of mentorship and the impact of simply showing up to listen, advise, and inspire. We’re proud to stand alongside Generation France, whose unwavering commitment to youth empowerment continues to inspire us every day. 💪💙 Charlotte Jestin, Elsa Feder, Pierre Kerbellec, Lauren de Just Pellicer

  • 𝐁𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝. At Epic, we believe lasting impact comes from addressing the root causes of social issues, not just their symptoms. That’s why we’re proud to spotlight Common Justice, an organization redefining what justice can look like in the #UnitedStates. Rather than focusing solely on addressing the immediate harm caused by violence, Common Justice works to transform the systems and stories that perpetuate it, building pathways toward healing and reconciliation. Their latest initiative, The Narrative Hub, is a powerful new digital resource created by survivors, artists, and advocates to shift how we talk and think about violence and safety. This long-term, systemic approach deeply resonates with Epic’s mission to support solutions that create sustainable, structural change and strengthen the foundations of a more equitable world. 👉 Inside the Hub, you’ll find: 📰 Reports exposing harmful media practices  and offering solutions for telling more honest, healing-centered stories about crime and safety. 💬 Transformative curriculum for advocates, educators, and organizations supporting survivors and communities to share their stories with care and power. 🎨 “Art for Change” masterclass videos led by artists exploring how creative expression can drive activism and tell truer stories. 👉 Explore the Narrative Hub here: https://lnkd.in/eC6Q5tW5

  • Turn good intentions into strategic giving: Insights from our School of Philanthropy 🎓 🚀 Ten years of learning, listening, and walking alongside nonprofits and donors have shaped how we understand giving at Epic Foundation. We’ve seen generosity transform lives, even as needs grow and resources feel stretched. Today, with international funding under severe strain, the stakes are higher than ever, and thoughtful giving has the power to make a real difference. This is the idea behind the School of Philanthropy. It takes a decade of lessons and turns them into practical tools, frameworks, and real-world insights to help donors give strategically and maximise their impact. We sat down with Soizic Hagège, Lead of the School of Philanthropy, to explore what makes giving strategic, what sets this initiative apart, and the practical takeaways participants use to strengthen nonprofits and create lasting change. 🚀 Smart giving goes further. • At Epic, we strive to bridge the gap between education and employability for youth from underserved communities. 🎓 We are proud to highlight our newly selected grantee, Antarang Foundation, which empowers students across India with career guidance, mentorship, and skills development through a 4-year career education model integrated into public high schools, helping them turn their aspirations into meaningful careers. As the new school year begins, we’re spotlighting Antarang’s impact by sharing stories from their alumni, who have transformed their passions into real achievements thanks to the foundation’s Career Program. 🏫 ✨ « I was unsure about transitioning to a non-technical field. Joining Antarang gave me the guidance and confidence I needed. » said Safar Singh, campaign manager, on his journey of switching from coding to digital marketing through the guidance of Antarang. • Epic London Drinks: Connecting Community with Purpose 🚀 Last Thursday, our Epic community gathered in London for an evening full of connection, celebration, and reflection. Supporters, ambassadors, donors, and grantees came together to mark a decade of bold impact and look ahead to the journey still to come. Alexandre MARS, our CEO and Founder, reminded us why Epic Foundation was created and what we have achieved in 10 years. Together we have supported 57 high-impact nonprofits, mobilised almost $100 million, and transformed the lives of millions of young people worldwide. The conversation turned to one of our biggest ambitions and guiding motto: Make giving the norm. From carefully selecting high-impact charities to providing unrestricted funding and empowering people to give more effectively, Epic is turning philanthropy into a force for real, lasting change. Initiatives like the #SchoolofPhilanthropy help thousands enjoy their giving journey while creating bold impact. We were delighted to welcome some of our nonprofit partners such as The Felix Project, SafeLives, and Justdiggit, whose work reminds us why this community exists. The evening sparkled with energy, with guests including entrepreneurs, start-up founders, individuals, and families. Special thanks to our longstanding partner 17Capital for hosting us in their fabulous offices. Here is to the next 10 years, reimagining giving, making smart giving the norm, and creating impact together! Alexandre MARS Jonathan HUDE-DUFOSSÉ Lisa Lund

  • 20 years of unlocking potential: Télémaque ✨ Since 2005, Télémaque has been changing the game for young people from underserved backgrounds. By pairing each student with two mentors, a corporate mentor and a school-based mentor, they offer guidance, inspiration, and real opportunities to succeed. Part of Epic Foundation’s portfolio since 2020, Télémaque has supported motivated students and apprentices in reaching their full potential, helping them overcome socio-economic barriers and thrive. This work aligns perfectly with Epic’s mission to create lasting change for children and youth, fostering equal opportunities and empowering the next generation. Today, Télémaque works with more than 200 schools and 250 partners across 11 French regions, building a more equitable education system in France. This week, Télémaque celebrated 20 years of impact with a special evening where our entire Epic team, including Epic CEO and Founder Alexandre MARS and COO Sarah Mariotte-Tirmarche, came together to honor the incredible achievements of the organization and its mentors. From mentorship programs to alumni initiatives, Télémaque proves that long-term guidance can transform lives. Here is to 20 years of inspiring change and many more to come!
