About us

In 1985, Evergreen Engineering Inc. was founded to bring innovative industrial engineering, design, consulting and construction solutions to the wood products industry. Today that same mission drives Evergreen to serve companies building and maintaining facilities in a number of markets including wood products, power generation, pulp & paper, chemical, resin, and specialty metals. The company originated and is headquartered in Eugene, Oregon and in 2016 opened a southeastern office in Atlanta, Georgia. From these offices, Evergreen serves clients throughout North America and around the world. Our continuing ability to understand the needs of our clients goes hand in hand with our knowledge of industry processes. We have created a dynamic team with the technical depth to facilitate successful projects across the country and around the globe. From alternative energy, municipal expansion and university upgrades, to biomass export, surface mining and wood pellets, Evergreen helps companies turn dreams into reality.

  • Wow. Our Atlanta office really showed up in a big way! Yesterday, our team donated 254 pounds of food to the Solidarity Sandy Springs Food Pantry. It was great to see so many people come together with a shared goal of supporting our local community. These moments are a reminder that the impact we make goes beyond the work we do every day. We are incredibly grateful for our Atlanta team and proud of the way they continue to show up for others.

      +2
  • From all of us at Evergreen, we want to wish our staff, clients, vendors, and the many friends we’ve made along the way a very happy holiday season. We hope your days are filled with time spent with family, great memories, good food, and just the right amount of eggnog. (Enough to be festive, not enough to regret it.) Please note that our offices will be closed December 25 through December 26.

  • This week, we are proud to drop off our Giving Tree donations for Kids First and take a moment to recognize the incredible generosity of our team. Once again, our employees rallied together in a truly impressive way to support a family in need. From thoughtful gifts to essential items, every contribution reflected care, kindness, and a genuine desire to make a difference. Efforts like this remind us that the strength of our organization goes far beyond the work we do. It is about showing up for our community and for one another. We are grateful for everyone who participated and helped make this Giving Tree drive such a meaningful success.

  • Evergreen is proud to be part of the MECOP Company Expo. This event marks the start of the internship placement process and gives students an opportunity to connect with companies that are ready to support their growth. The expo is always a great reminder of the emerging talent in our field. Investing in the future of so many young engineers gives us a clear look at the bright future of engineering in Oregon. A big thank you to Treyson Smith, David Stich, PE, Zeus Brunner, Jennifer Briggs, Harrison Boyst, EIT, and Ben Mullis for representing Evergreen at the event. We appreciate you being there and supporting the next generation of engineers!

  • We already knew our employees were awesome, but today really proved it. We dropped off the donation bins from our food drive at Food for Lane County, and the final total was truly impressive. Our team came together and donated 290 POUNDS of food to support our community! We are incredibly grateful for everyone who contributed and extremely proud to be part of an organization that shows up for others.

  • Last week a few of our team members attended the Western Pulp, Paper and Forest Products Safety and Health Conference in Portland, OR. It was a great chance to connect with others in the industry and explore new ideas that support safer and more efficient operations. From hosting our booth and networking to sitting in on sessions about safety innovations and regulatory updates, our employees returned with fresh insights and renewed motivation. The conference highlighted how important a strong safety culture is for everyone in the pulp, paper and forest products community. We are excited to bring these learnings back to our teams and continue supporting safer work for all.
