Create supportive spaces where individuals and families can find solace, meaning, and hope in the midst of loss.

About us

At Everstory Partners, our mission is to create supportive spaces where individuals and families can find solace, meaning, and hope in the midst of loss. Everstory is our brand promise, created in April 2023, to destigmatize death care. Everstory is a unique blend of long-standing traditions of caring for the deceased with a fresh perspective that death is a natural and beautiful part of the human experience that should be planned and celebrated. Since 1999, the company has grown to include 469 cemetery, funeral, and cremation locations serving more than 50,000 families a year across the United States and Puerto Rico. At the heart of our mission is a deep understanding of the profound and complex nature of grief. Every person's journey through loss is unique, and we are committed to providing compassionate and personalized support. We also believe that grief is not a problem to be solved or a burden to manage alone, but rather a natural part of the human experience. Backed by our national strength, our local team's role is to be a steady presence that provides comfort and guidance, while partnering with families to celebrate the life and legacy of the person who has passed.

  • October is all about Development at Everstory Partners! This week, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on our General Manager Advisory Council — a talented group of leaders who help shape and strengthen our organization. The Council plays a key role in informing, designing, and implementing company initiatives such as piloting the Core 4 Tool, reviewing and refining SOPs, vetting new recruiting processes, and supporting Mother’s Day media and survey follow-up efforts. In addition to their project work, Council members take part in professional development programs and will present a Quarterly Business Review as part of their ongoing growth plan. We’re grateful for their commitment to excellence and the meaningful impact they bring to Everstory Partners every day. • On Grief Awareness Day, we pause to acknowledge one of the most universal, and often most challenging, human experiences. At Everstory, our team walks alongside families navigating grief every single day. Beyond the care we provide, many of us also carry personal grief and the emotions that come with working in the Death Care industry. To help create space for understanding and healing, our Benefits team recently hosted a webinar on coping with grief. Participants explored how grief can show up in the body, the many forms and stages of grief, and common myths about grief and the truths behind them. Myths → Facts Ignoring pain makes it go away faster → Avoiding grief prolongs it. You must be strong → Sadness, fear, and vulnerability are normal. Not crying means you don’t care → Grief is expressed differently for everyone. Grieving lasts about a year → There’s no set timeframe. Moving on means forgetting → Moving forward means living with the loss, not erasing it. Grief is lifelong, transformative, and deeply individual. Healing happens gradually, and while it never fully goes away, we can rebuild and move forward into a new phase of life. Last year, we were honored to hear from grief expert Leslie Barber, who shared her own powerful journey of moving forward. Her honest, vulnerable perspective continues to remind us that grief is not something to “get over”, but something we learn to live with.
