Together We Spark Hope: Talking Rain Beverage Co®, makers of Sparkling Ice at Making Strides Seattle On October 11th, the Seattle waterfront came alive with purpose as thousands gathered at Pier 62 for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer—a powerful day of community, compassion, and commitment. Talking Rain Beverage Co®, makers of Sparkling Ice showed up in full force as a Flagship Sponsor, with Ken Sylvia at the helm. From the vibrant Sparkling Ice and AQA activations to their presence in the Path of Hope and Hope Garden, Talking Rain helped create a space where survivors and supporters could walk with meaning. Beyond the walk, Talking Rain hosted a powerful Women in the Rain Lunch & Learn, spotlighting breast cancer awareness and empowering employees to take action. Their commitment to the American Cancer Society's mission—through sponsorship, education, and advocacy—continues to inspire. With the Executives Against Cancer Pacific Northwest leading the way, we raised over $2 million in support of the American Cancer Society🍾. Our goal to raise $2,041,910 to represent every person who will hear "you have cancer" this year and exceeded our goal! This incredible milestone was only possible because of the generosity and commitment of our Chapter members — through sponsorships, once-in-a-lifetime auction donations, and powerful paddle raises that will directly fuel lifesaving cancer research and patient programs. We are extremely grateful to Columbia Distributing for hosting the 14th Annual, Scott DeMartine Memorial Charity Golf Tournament on Aug 14th and for choosing the American Cancer Society as one of the beneficiaries.
