  • Fox 9 sat down with Dr. Larson from M Health Fairview to talk about the recent rise in measles cases and what families need to know. In the interview, she covered questions many parents are asking right now: • How measles spreads and when to call your pediatrician. • What the current vaccine schedule looks like. • How providers approach conversations about vaccines, with empathy, not pressure. • What to consider when thinking about community safety, from schools to social gatherings. • Where to find accurate, up-to-date information you can trust. Watch the interview to hear her perspective on protecting kids and communities across Minnesota and when kids and adults are typically vaccinated. https://bit.ly/478dscT #Measles #Vaccines #PublicHealth #CommunityHealth #MHealthFairview

  • Stable housing is the literal foundation that supports healthy habits – from cooking nourishing food to getting a solid 8 hours of sleep. That’s why Fairview Health is proud to support Habitat for Humanity in its mission to create, maintain, and advocate for quality affordable housing. This week, 75 dedicated employees helped complete the finishing touches, such as trim and doors, on two single-family homes in Saint Paul. “I really love working for Fairview because of its mission and vision, and the way we give back to the community. My role doesn't have direct patient contact, so being able to participate in these volunteer events allows me to feel more connected to our community and our patients,” said Kristin Young, program director of data governance and analytics education.

  • Fairview Pharmacy Services, already one of the nation’s largest health system-based home infusion and specialty pharmacies, opened a new state-of-the-art facility in Shoreview, Minnesota. This site reflects our long-term commitment to providing equitable, accessible, and high-quality care, with innovations designed to meet growing demand. ✔️Automated dispensing and robotics improve safety and accuracy ✔️Efficient mail service processing helps fill pharmacy desert gaps ✔️ 16 infusion bays designed for patients with complex conditions ✔️ Manufacturing space for new life-saving immunotherapy medications As Fairview CEO James Hereford said: “The reason we do this is for the patients who depend on Fairview and our pharmacy teams to get the medication and supplies they need, accurately, quickly, conveniently – in a way that supports their lives and wellbeing.” We are honored to continue transforming lives, supporting providers, and redefining what’s possible in patient care. #HealthcareInnovation #Pharmacy #PatientCare #Fairview

  • Fresh food on the table. Less stress at home. Better health outcomes. That’s the power of Fair Table, our food is medicine program – connecting patients and families experiencing food insecurity with fresh, nutritious foods and support to make lasting improvements to their health and wellbeing. But it’s more than food distribution. It’s about listening to the barriers our communities face and finding solutions that help them the most. Fair Table is just one of the initiatives that helped earn Fairview the Foster G. McGaw Prize from the @American Hospital Association, one of the nation’s most prestigious honors for community service in health care. We’re grateful to our team members, community partners and patients who make this work meaningful every day.

  • Yesterday, we hosted the Building Trust to Advance Public Health Summit — bringing together community partners, state leaders, and national voices to reflect on one question: how do we build trust in health care? At Fairview, we’ve learned that trust isn’t built by promises. It’s built by everyday actions that meet people where they are. In 2024, that looked like: 🍎 Fair Table distributing more than 100,000 pounds of food through our food-as-medicine program 🤝 6 full-time cultural brokers supporting patients and families with trusted guidance and resources in their own communities 💉 12,900+ free vaccines delivered across 443 neighborhood events — from flu to COVID-19 to mpox 💙 12,900+ Naloxone kits packed for overdose prevention and recovery support These partnerships and programs are proof that when health systems and communities work together, we build the kind of trust that saves lives — and prepares us to face future challenges side by side. We’re grateful to every partner who joined us at the Summit and to the many community leaders who make this work real every day.

  • 200 M Health Fairview physicians have been named Top Doctors by Minnesota Monthly! Being named Top Doctor isn’t just a title. It’s a reminder of the countless ways our physicians show up with skill, grit and heart to care for patients and families when it matters most. To the 200 physicians on this year’s list: thank you for living our values in every patient interaction. To the patients our physicians serve: thank you for entrusting us with your care. #TopDoctors #TwinCities #HealthNews #Doctor #Physician

  • This is what partnership in action looks like. Working alongside trusted community organizations with the Minnesota Immunization Networking Initiative (MINI), we have provided thousands of free health services and resources, all in trusted community spaces. Vaccinations, dental fluoride treatments, blood pressure check and more—all by meeting people in communal spaces they know best. This dedication is part of the reason our health system was this year’s recipient of the Foster G. McGaw Award. The national prize from the American Hospital Association recognizes our enduring commitment to advance health equity in communities across Minnesota.
