From James Beard Award winners to beloved local legends and buzzworthy newcomers, the rest of the year promises memorable evenings showcasing a wide variety of diverse flavors and culinary styles --- all while celebrating FareStart students. These nights sell out, so we recommend grabbing yours early. Menus will be revealed about one month before each event, and while tickets are non-refundable and can’t be transferred to another date, they’re transferable—so if you can’t make it, feel free to gift the experience to someone else. All proceeds support FareStart’s job training programs. FareStart Mobile Community Market May Updates 🌱🍄🟫🍅🌿 FareStart’s Mobile Community Market continues to bring fresh, nutritious and affordable food directly to neighborhoods across Seattle. Since 2021, we’ve partnered with local farms and community organizations to distribute nearly 300,000 pounds of food to over 7,000 households. With a flexible pay structure—including SNAP/EBT, FareStart vouchers, credit/debit and more—we’re making healthy food accessible to all. 🥕 New this month: We’re joining the SLU Farmers Market on Saturdays! You can find us at the market selling fresh, seasonal produce and farm boxes filled with locally grown fruits and vegetables. It’s a great new way to support food access and FareStart job training while shopping sustainably.
