#FlagshipFounded Indigo announces Microsoft’s commitment to purchase 60,000 soil carbon credits from the company’s fourth and largest carbon crop.
Farmers are at the forefront of protecting our planet’s land and water. Because of their work, Microsoft is purchasing 60,000 soil carbon credits from Indigo’s latest carbon crop, as Indigo accelerates soil carbon removals for Microsoft in our second carbon credit collaboration. In April we issued 630k new credits, as a result we will move tens of millions of dollars from private buyers like Microsoft directly into the hands of farmers. Together, we're investing in the people who feed us, care for the land, and build the future of resilient agriculture. 💵 75% of every credit sale in our standard program goes to the growers, supporting local families, local economies, and building the legacy of farms for years to come. 💧Together with these farmers, our program has already helped prevent more than 64 billion gallons of surface water runoff. That means cleaner rivers, healthier soil, and stronger rural communities. 🌱 With nearly a megaton of carbon removals now stored in U.S. cropland, we're working together to protect and restore our soils. We’re excited to present new SER-155 Phase 1b exploratory biomarker data at #ASCO25. If you’re attending, we welcome you to stop by our poster and learn more! New data will build on our previous findings, focusing on the potential of SER-155 to promote immune reconstitution following allo-HSCT through the modulation of homeostatic cytokines and peripheral T-cell expansion. We’ll also share the poster on our website following the conference. Read more in today’s release: https://lnkd.in/eQauTzGZ

Learn more about #FlagshipFounded Sail Biomedicines in this Advancing RNA Q&A with Kerry Benenato and Rajesh Ramaswamy. ⬇️
The promise of circular RNA lies not just in its stability, but in its potential to be engineered for unprecedented performance through AI. Sail’s data-driven approach turns molecular design and targeted delivery into a repeatable, learnable engineering process – with the potential to open new therapeutic frontiers. In this Q&A, Kerry Benenato and Rajesh Ramaswamy of Sail Biomedicines explain how they’re building programmable RNA medicines with circular eRNA and targeted lipid nanoparticles, fueled by an AI platform that learns and evolves with every experiment. From optimizing expression to expanding beyond extrahepatic delivery, it’s a fascinating look at how AI and biology can converge to reshape therapeutic development. Understanding the surface chemistry of lipid nanoparticles is essential to engineering RNA-based medicines with precision. In a collaborative study led by the University of Nottingham, Sail Biomedicines, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and the UK’s National Physical Laboratory (NPL), scientists used Cryo-OrbiSIMS to map the structure and composition of LNPs like never before. Sail’s Chief Platform Officer Kerry Benenato said, “This technology paves the way for LNP-based therapeutics with tunable properties, including biodistribution—ultimately expanding the potential of RNA-based medicines.” Read the press release for more on this breakthrough: https://lnkd.in/eBFHRck9 #eRNA #RNA #endlessRNA #programmablemedicines #drugdelivery #tLNP #RNAdelivery #LipidNanoparticles

As the commencement speaker for the Worcester Polytechnic Institute graduate school class of 2025 last week, I was honored to be joined by President Grace W. and student representative Shelley Joshi. Interestingly, all three of us were born outside of the United States. As I told the graduates, being an immigrant has shaped my entire life and career. I arrived in Canada from Lebanon when I was 13, having never experienced snow and preferring Armenian folk dance to playing ice hockey. I didn’t move to the U.S. until I came for graduate school, like many of the graduate students I addressed on Thursday. Getting used to a new culture was uncomfortable—but it gave me an advantage that I’ve carried with me since. I often ask, “Why should we expect reasonable people doing reasonable things to deliver extraordinary results?” Being an immigrant gave me permission to be unreasonable. It taught me that it’s ok to be different. If you don’t know what’s expected, you’re not bound by what’s expected. I encouraged the graduates—whether born in Massachusetts or Malawi or Myanmar—to embrace an “immigrant mindset” and grow comfortable with the discomfort that so often drives innovation. Finally, I spoke about one of WPI’s most famous alums: Dr. Robert Goddard, the father of modern rocket science and the namesake of NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. He persevered through repeated disappointments to build the technology that eventually took humans to the moon. I encouraged the class of 2025 to do the same, channeling their energy into learning, iterating, and trying again rather than dwelling in disappointment when things don’t go as they had hoped. I also offered some thoughts about how graduates can apply these lessons to one of the emerging forces shaping our world: Artificial Intelligence. I encouraged them to make room for AI in their work, and to make use of it—opening the door to what I call “polyintelligence” and a new era of scientific discovery. For more on my thoughts on the synthesis of human, machine, and nature’s intelligence: https://lnkd.in/eVRdZ6Nk You can watch the full speech here: https://lnkd.in/eu7P66vB
