Have you ever wondered what it’s like to see through cataracts? Cataracts form when the eye’s natural lens becomes cloudy, leading to blurred vision, increased glare, and difficulty seeing at night. They often develop gradually with age, but factors such as genetics, UV exposure, or smoking can cause them to appear or progress more quickly. If you notice changes in your vision, schedule a consultation at flei.com to experience how expert care can make a difference. #flei #ophthalmology #eyehealthcare #cataracts #cataractsurgery #browardcounty

At the Fort Lauderdale Eye Institute, our research department prioritizes patient safety, informed consent, and thorough screening to achieve successful outcomes. Our study coordinators play a crucial role in this process by monitoring all aspects of the research protocol at the site. This includes scheduling patients for evaluations, performing special testing, and assisting with the administration of drug treatment. They work closely with Dr. Stuart Burgess, the Director of Clinical Research, and Noel Pereda, the Clinical Research Manager, to gather and communicate information from patient visits to the sponsor. This collaboration ensures both the quality of patient care and the success of the clinical trial. #flei #ophthalmology #clinicialresearch #insideclinicalresearch #ophthalmiccare #browardcounty
