+3,400 participants. Over 140 countries. Oh boy, was this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Network Congress magical. First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the IU Innovates team for making this experience possible for us student entrepreneurs, and for the logistics and organizational coordination they demonstrated. This was my first time attending an event of this scale, and it will certainly not be my last. A spacious arena, hosting numerous rooms where speakers shared their expertise and insights across a diverse array of topics. A swarm of like-minded individuals full of entrepreneurial hunger, wisdom, and eagerness to grow. The amalgamation of these elements makes the GEC what it really is: a concentration of teachers and students, each one ready to share and learn, all in pursuit of a nurturing yet transformative experience. A big shoutout to the incredible people I had the pleasure of meeting and learning from, as well as to the speakers who led their sessions with such professionalism. Thank you for being part of this year’s congress.

Today was the first day of my internship as a founder at Startup Summer 2025, hosted by The Mill in Bloomington, IN. Over the next 10 weeks, I’ll be part of an intensive, hands-on accelerator program designed to help collegiate founders build and grow their startups. I’m incredibly excited to continue developing GastroLine — a B2B platform and logistics service that connects restaurants and grocers with trusted organic food suppliers. At GastroLine, we’re on a mission to raise awareness about the health and environmental benefits of organic products and help make them more accessible across the food industry. I’m especially looking forward to working in such a dynamic and collaborative environment, and to learning alongside an amazing cohort of fellow founders.
