🙌 The European Genomic Data Infrastructure (GDI) project has released a technical demonstration video showcasing a first version of the 1+MG #FederatedAnalysis infrastructure, analysing real-like synthetic data 💾 across six countries. 🧬 The video shows a user in the Czech Republic analysing data distributed in five other GDI national nodes - Estonia, Germany, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain - without the data leaving its country of origin. 📣 Last week, ELIXIR was in Prato, Italy, joining the 🌍 Australian and European Health & Life Sciences Research Infrastructure Symposium. 🙌 Health Research Infrastructures from across Australia and Europe shared expertise, explored cross-border opportunities, and advanced shared priorities in areas such as #OpenScience and #AI in health! Highlights included: ✨ Keynotes by the European Commission, EOSC and ESFRI on Research Infrastructures, and an inspiring opening speech by the Australian Ambassador to Italy. ✨ Panel discussions on industry and community drivers for distributed RIs, with contributions from ELIXIR. ✨ Sessions on AI in health, workforce development, innovation translation, policy and sustainability. 🚀 The symposium showed how international RIs can pool knowledge, data, and talent to tackle global health challenges.
