We were proud to sponsor the Awards Gala evening at the Women in Nuclear Global Conference in London, hosted by Women in Nuclear UK, and it was especially inspiring to hear GVH Canada Country Leader Lisa McBride open the evening. Lisa emphasized the critical role women play in advancing the nuclear industry and highlighted the importance of Women in Nuclear’s mission to support and empower women in the field. She also shared the progress GVH is making globally, combining decades of real-world experience with a commitment to innovation and local collaboration. With the BWRX-300 small modular reactor, we are leading the way: ● In Canada, where construction of the first grid-scale SMR in the Western world is underway at Ontario Power Generation’s Darlington site. ● In the US, where Tennessee Valley Authority’s application to construct a BWRX-300 has been accepted for review by the NRC. ● Momentum continues to build in Poland and Sweden as we support global decarbonization and energy security goals. SMRs are helping meet the demand for always-available electricity to power millions of homes while creating local jobs and long-term careers that support a net zero future. #WiNGlobal2025 #WomenInNuclear
