We're inspired by colleagues who turn their personal journeys into powerful missions. 🏃♀️ This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we're sharing Katie Smiley's story. She faced a life-changing breast cancer diagnosis at 33, the same week she became a homeowner and started her career at GE HealthCare. The same GE HealthCare technologies she now helps deliver to patients played a critical role in her own diagnosis and recovery. A day in Katie's marathon training looked like this: Early alarm. A run before work. Balancing her role contributing to delivering imaging technology to patients with more miles after hours. All while raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Going from being a patient to making a meaningful impact for patients in three years has been the highlight of her entire career. Katie recently completed the 2025 Chicago Marathon, channeling her experience into meaningful action—one mile at a time. Her story is a reminder to all of us: face challenges head-on, care for yourself, and don't skip your screenings. 💜 #BreastCancerAwareness #ChicagoMarathon #RunForHope

ClearRecon DL takes the stage at #JFR2025! 🏆 We’re thrilled to share that ClearRecon DL, our deep learning–based image reconstruction tech, has won the JFR Innovation Award from the French Society of Radiology, in partnership with SNITEM and the French Healthcare Association. This recognition highlights how AI is transforming medical imaging to benefit both clinicians and the patients they serve. Leading this achievement is our colleague Vincent Jugnon, AI Architect in our Advanced Applications Interventional team, who transformed ClearRecon DL from idea to industrialization with the support of a talented, multidisciplinary team. Earlier this year, Vincent also earned the Edison Pioneer Award, one of GE HealthCare’s highest honors for innovation. Congratulations to Vincent and to all the teams whose passion and expertise continue to advance the future of healthcare. 💜

How can healthcare systems, MedTech companies, and technology leaders work together to improve patient care? That was the focus of a panel at AdvaMed MedTech Conference this week—and the message was clear: the future of healthcare depends on collaboration across industries. The discussion, including Catherine Estrampes, GE HealthCare President and CEO, US & Canada, explored how health systems are moving beyond transactional relationships to build long-term partnerships that address their biggest challenges: improving workflows for clinicians, leveraging data and AI effectively, and reaching patients wherever they are. Catherine (second from the left) emphasized GE HealthCare's provider-first Care Alliance approach—partnerships must be rooted in patient and provider needs, co-created with open communication, customization, and clear metrics to track impact. The takeaway? When MedTech, tech, and providers design solutions together—based in deepest needs—everyone benefits, especially patients. #HealthcareInnovation #MedTech #MTC25

For the second year, GE HealthCare Vietnam brought Mid-Autumn Festival to pediatric patients, this time at Dien Bien General Hospital. In partnership with Hope Foundation, our 'Moonlight of Hope' initiative brought joy to children in one of Vietnam's most underserved regions. Our team engaged patients through lantern-making, mask painting, and donated a bookshelf to the Pediatrics Department. We provided financial support, mooncakes, milk, toys, and traditional lion dances throughout the day. Together, we can bring light where it's needed most. 🏮✨ #MidAutumnFestival #GEHealthCare
