October was packed with exciting moments at General Mills! We showcased our latest innovations and foodservice solutions at industry events and welcomed investors to our World Headquarters to share our plans for accelerating growth. We also celebrated the national launch of Blue Buffalo's new fresh line, Love Made Fresh. And, of course, we got into the Halloween spirit with the Gushers "FruitHead" short horror film and a Monsters Cereal-themed employee event!

We're thrilled to announce we received three industry awards, including Convenience Store News' Best New Product in the salty snacks/corn snacks category for Bugles Salt & Vinegar, and Chex Mix Spicy Dill took the top spot in the salty snacks/mixed category. This Halloween, Gushers is resurrecting a chilling piece of ’90s nostalgia: its infamous Fruitheads commercial. Known for fueling fans’ nightmares for years, Gushers has transformed the spot into a short horror film created in partnership with Imagine Entertainment, starring award-winning actor Bradley Whitford and viral creator Chester Collins, and directed by Mike Diva, known for his visually striking, internet-breaking style. The new short film, titled “FruitHead,” takes the commercial to sinister new depths, revealing how one unlucky actor from the ’90s ad was cursed to live his life as a FruitHead.
