Last week we attended the Forging Industry Association’s Forge Fair event where industry professionals from around the world converged to network, see new products, and learn about a variety of technical topics. We were proud to provide two presentations, one focused on steelmaking 101 concepts and the second on development programs for employees at any level within the organization. The final day featured a forging competition where hammers forged by students were tested by judges from the "Forged in Fire" TV show using grinding balls donated by Gerdau’s Duluth, MN location.   #ShapeTheFuture #SteelProud

Yesterday, we announced our results for the first quarter of 2025. Our results were relatively stable compared to the last quarter, and once again, Gerdau's geographic diversification played a key role in providing greater resilience in our performance. We recorded growth in delivered volumes in North America, offsetting the decline in the Brazilian market, which continued to be impacted by imports of long and flat steel, growing 30% in the period.   In our 124-year history, Gerdau has remained prepared to adapt to volatile macroeconomic scenarios, such as the one we face in the global market, ensuring value generation for our stakeholders.   #ShapeTheFuture #GerdauResults

While we celebrate Earth Day today, Gerdau works every day to shape a more sustainable future. In North America, we transform recycled scrap into new steel products with greater than 96% recycled content.
