Congratulations to Autumn, Madeline, and Madison from Troop 5 in Warwick for earning the Girl Scout Bronze Award! They decided to make a shoe cubby for Wellville at Camp Hoffman to keep it more organized. They went to camp and measured the area, then made plans of how to build it and created their budget. They went shopping for supplies, and then started to build the cubby using hammers, drills, and a table saw. Once it was put together, they painted the top and delivered the finished product and installed it at Wellville. After that, they each made their own presentation about their project and presented it to their troop and their families during their first meeting this year! Amazing job, Girl Scouts!

Congratulations to Rebecca Twitchell, one of our 2025 Leading Women of Distinction Honorees! Born in Providence, RI and having lived and worked in DC, CA and NJ/NYC before making her way “back home” 20 years later, Rebecca is passionate about connecting people and complements any client gig with a touch of creativity. Rebecca aspires to live each day as optimistically and realistically as possible. Her story is the backbone behind why half full exists. Go ahead and shake her hand- and ask for the left one. A graduate of the Maxwell School of Citizenship at Syracuse University and the University of California San Diego, Rebecca is known for her facilitation style, problem-solving techniques, and keen ability to adapt and plow through any issues that may affect any of her clients locally, throughout the U.S., and globally (Africa being a favorite). The proud founder of half full, llc, Rebecca is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program in RI where she serves as an alumni advocate, Leadership Rhode Island PI II, and most recently has successfully managed the acquisition of another female owned, valued-driven business, adding to their already robust repertoire of workplace development experiences and trainings. Rebecca loves to sing and dance when nobody is ACTUALLY watching, she enjoys driving as it is her escape into reflection time, and she loves laughing with her husband. Troop 217 from Exeter visited Montreal this August! The Girl Scouts went to Notre-Dame Basilica, Museum of Illusions, Biodome and Botanical Gardens, and the Jean-Talon Market. They ate many crepes, visited lots of shops and cafes, and enjoyed an awesome boat ride on the St. Lawrence River. What an amazing trip!
