We're Hiring! The Town of Glastonbury seeks an experienced and licensed civil engineer to fill the valued role of Director of Engineering and Highways. Under the general direction of the Town Manager, the Director serves as Town Engineer and manages capital projects involving Town infrastructure. Supported by reporting divisional managers, this position directs the operations of Engineering, Highway, and Fleet Maintenance. Responsibilities include the design, review, and inspection of civil engineering projects; review of proposed development technical plans and specifications for conformance with applicable regulations and standards; the construction, maintenance, and repair of the Town’s infrastructure system of roads, highways, and drainage; and the maintenance and repair of the Town’s vehicle fleet.
