Your product is harder to use than you think. And it's costing you deals 👇 As a CEO, using our own product is damn insightful. Because it will give you a reality check. Some might say "Well, I already know our product in depth so I don't need to do it as often..." I disagree. Great founders are in the weeds of the product and UX. Not managing from some ivory tower. You need to eliminate your bias as a founder. By LIVING in your product every day. All the time. Make this a regular habit. Our first version of Goldcast? The UI was so rough we couldn't close 1 deal 😅 We had to literally re-build the interface from zero. Then our pipeline started converting. Since then, I make it a habit to build all our internal all hands and other events myself, and I am always surprised by how much improvement there is still to be had even in features that are 3 year old. Don't let your ego get in the way of improving. This is the only way to crush NPS -- 👋 P.S. What else would you add?

"Why will no one join our webinars??" NEW data for you from 1.7M registrants 👇 The Goldcast 2024 B2B Webinar Benchmark Report is here. New data from 300 B2B brands using Goldcast for you: 1.7 million registrants 613,000 attendees 6,000+ webinars Let's jump in: 1️⃣ "What does good attendance look like?" The avg. webinar has 296 registrants. With a 30% attendance rate. BUT... "Raw" attendance shouldn't be your primary KPI. Focus on your sign up <> attendance ratio by ICP tier. That shows you're engaging your desired audiences. Rather than your blanket avg. 2️⃣ "What should we call our webinar?" Do NOT call it a "webinar." Calling it a webinar will lower your attendance rate. If the first word of your emails is "webinar"? You'll see 14% lower open rates. Do this instead 👇 Call it a "Series." It leads to higher registrants and attendance rates. The psychology behind why we believe this is working well: Your audience has been trained by Netflix. They want predictable, themed content they can rely on. 3️⃣ "How many webinars should we run?" The AVG is about 22 per year. That's up ~70% from 2023. Why? Brands are realizing they need to build a moat. And webinars produce content that is: 1. Authoritative 2. Personality-led Which you can turn into assets at scale. Content Lab by Goldcast lets you do this for free. (Turn your webinars into clips, blog posts, etc) 300+ B2B brands have already produced: - 4,300+ video clips created - Thousands of blog posts - Enablement materials All from single events. 📌 TLDR for you; 1. Focus on specific audience segments 2. Run a "series", not just one-off webinars 3. Turn your events into content assets using AI

You need ONE clear owner for pipeline. That's why we did this 👇 Our GTM structure at Goldcast: 1. Marketing owns ALL pipeline generating resources 2. BDRs report to marketing, not sales 3. We have ONE accountable owner for pipeline When someone asks for a demo? It's rarely a "cold" interaction. They've been influenced by many marketing touchpoints. Fighting over attribution should never makes it to the top 5 priorities of a GTM leader The future of outbound: ❌ Isn't "dialing muscle" ✅ It's about precision and personalization- real personalization, not the "I see you do X at your company" and it requires... - Precise and deep segmentation - Experimenting with offers beyond "book a demo" (such as inviting them to your exclusive events- marketing owned!) - Pro messaging with inputs from areas such as product marketing - Connecting complex systems / operations- revops ftw! Marketing are better equipped for this imo. As it relates to pipeline gen anyways. To be VERY clear. Sales and marketing do CO-OWN the revenue target. The goal is to create a unified GTM team. One that speaks the same language. Some leaders think this is crazy... But what works for them may not work for you. Don't be afraid to redesign your core GTM operations. There's no right or wrong way here. Do what works for YOUR business ✌️

Super excited to bring on enterprises like Canva, Rubrik, SolarWinds, OneStream Software as well as fast-growing companies like Glean, Gamma, Flexport, FloQast as customers in Q2 🙏 For the first time, we’re seeing a real convergence across three previously distinct categories: events, video, and content. Teams that are connected across these functions are now able to unlock the full potential of these channels, using AI to repurpose it seamlessly across channels like social and web. It’s no longer about running events or creating content in silos. It’s about orchestrating a unified content engine that drives mindshare everywhere. This typically breaks down as companies get bigger since teams operate in silos especially with different leaders in brand marketing, events & field marketing, product marketing but many of them are trying to unify it. Most importantly, we are working hard to make sure Goldcast has the right tools and the platform architecture for brands to scale their event/video strategy. Lots of improvements and exciting updates coming very soon 💪
