They have been amazing partners to our Backpack Drive for years and have established a committed giving program within their community, so it is so fitting that they came out as our winners this time around! Y'all really impressed us this time 🎒✨ This year, local backpack supplier and 3 year Backpack Drive partner, Fenrici, matched your purchases and made it more accessible to buy and donate multiple backpacks with lower costs. So it wasn't very surprising to hear that hundreds of your donated backpacks needed to be delivered earlier than planned 🤷🏼♂️😍 Michael, Fenrici's founder, came by twice in the last couple weeks and filled up an entire wall in our Backpack Drive pod with just over 300 backpacks. And that's not even all of the backpacks!! Goodman's Spring Food Drive Competition winner received a personal trophy delivery by Bucky Badger! We are so grateful to COAA (Construction Owners Association of America) for bringing in over 500 items for our Food Drive Competition! They made a point to also bring in LOADS of personal hygiene items, which are always appreciated at our pantry. Partnering with University of Wisconsin-Madison Athletics Department and Badgers Give Back means that we get to provide a fun and meaningful moment of celebration to those who give to our community. Thank you to everyone who has participated in a local food drive recently. We can't wait to see who the next winner will be...

Come lead one of Goodman Community Center's 4K classrooms 🍎🏫 Our 4K classrooms are looking for someone eager to lead east side Madison kids through the social-emotional skills that will prepare for them for kindergarten. GCC’s unique environment encourages intergenerational learning, early literacy skills and supportive teacher-family relationships to help form a well-rounded and wholistic early education program. In this role, you’ll take charge of building a creative, safe classroom environment and lesson plans based on accreditation and licensing standards alongside our 3C programming model (see pinned post for more on the 3Cs). Goodman is hosting another Friendly Food Drive Competition for Community Organizations and Businesses and the WINNER will be announced at our Be the Good event on April 24, 2025!
