Join us in welcoming the newest members of our team, Shayna Velasquez and Taylor Bultema! Shayna Velasquez joins the team as Community Engagement Manager. Shayna brings a wealth of experience working with organizations throughout West Michigan to develop strategic partnerships and strategies, event campaigns, and cultural and creative initiatives. Shayna has also been an active member of the GRAM Visionnaire Executive Committee for several years. She looks forward to deepening relationships with our creative community, expanding access to the museum through new programming, and making meaningful connections across the city. Taylor Bultema is our new Studio Experience Manager. Taylor brings years of expertise in developing and guiding artmaking opportunities for all ages, including past roles with Frederik Meijer Gardens, UICA, and Grandville Avenue Arts and Humanities. Taylor also has extensive experience using art to support mindfulness, emotional well-being, and accessibility, with a particular focus on creating inclusive programs for the disability community, in addition to curriculum development for a wide range of art experiences. We can’t wait to see the new experiences she will create for our guests. Please give Shayna and Taylor a warm welcome, and say hello during your next visit to GRAM!
