Elmore Elementary School proudly hosted its 25th Annual Veterans Day Assembly on November 11. Students and staff honored 19 veterans from the Elmore community, as well as one active military parent who is currently deployed. Students sang songs, read a poem, and shared what Veterans Day is all about for a crowd of family, friends, and Veterans. Students waved red, white and blue pom poms and American flags to celebrate. Hand-made cards and gifts were presented to the Veterans present. 🇺🇸 See photos from the assembly: https://bit.ly/48aUjbN

Winter many be coming, but we will continue to see construction at Starr Elementary School. MacArthur Elementary third grader Izzy asked the Starr Elementary project superintendent a few questions about the progress the crew is seeing, and what we can expect to change at the site this winter. This project is one of many thank to community support of the November 2024 Referendum. Stay up to date on all 2024 Referendum projects on our website at gbaps.org/referendum2024.
