GrowthCap was founded in 2013 to facilitate the flow of capital to high growth private companies. Its primary focus is to aid CEOs, entrepreneurs, as well as large asset managers in better understanding the universe of capital alternatives offered by private equity, growth equity, venture capital, and private credit firms. GrowthCap also aims to provide company management teams with insights into how top performing companies have succeeded in scaling their businesses.

  • Congrats to Nancy Hilliker, CFA, one of the top finishers at the 2025 Jackson Hole Classic. Nancy, Principal at RPS Ventures, was among a select group of 30 leading growth investors, founders, and executives invited to Jackson Hole, WY, for this year’s GrowthCap Forum and Jackson Hole Classic. Together, participants shared insights on scaling high-growth companies, navigating evolving private capital markets, and the accelerating impact of AI across sectors. At RPS Ventures—a global late-stage venture capital fund backing entrepreneurs with strong traction and product-market fit—Nancy invests in technology companies alongside a team that leverages deep relationships and global reach. She joined RPS in 2025 from Revolution Growth, where she spent over four years investing in growth-stage businesses. Earlier in her career, Nancy worked in equity research at Citi and Wells Fargo, and in economic consulting at Bates White. This year’s Jackson Hole Classic culminated in a 2,800-vertical-foot summit challenge across 3.8 miles.

Jim, Co-Founder and CEO of Humanaut Health, was among a select group of 30 leading founders, growth investors, and executives invited to Jackson Hole, WY, for this year’s GrowthCap Forum and Jackson Hole Classic. Humanaut Health is a premium clinic dedicated to health optimization and longevity medicine, offering members advanced diagnostics, integrative therapies, and personalized care pathways. Jim launched the company in 2024 after co-founding Restore Hyper Wellness, which became a national leader in the hyper wellness space. Prior to that, he built IgoUgo.com, a pioneering user-generated travel platform later acquired by Sabre Holdings. Over the course of his career, Jim has also developed high-end health clubs, spas, and luxury real estate projects—experiences that have shaped his focus on combining lifestyle, health, and longevity.   • Mainsail Partners invests in Flyntlok. Flyntlok is a provider of modern, cloud-based dealer management systems for the heavy equipment industry. Its software is designed for equipment dealers and assists them across hundreds of locations by streamlining critical workflows such as point-of-sale, purchase and work orders, rentals, transportation scheduling, and fleet and inventory planning. Sean McLaughlin, CEO of Flyntlok, is also the owner of Craig Taylor Equipment, a John Deere, Bobcat, Doosan and Peterbilt dealer based in Alaska. The company aims to leverage Mainsail’s deep experience in scaling vertical SaaS businesses to bring AI and innovation to the dealer market.   • Bain Capital closes its fourteenth flagship private equity fund (Fund XIV) at $14 billion. Commitments worth about $11.8 billion came from external investors, beating the firm’s target of $10 billion. Fund XIV and the recently closed Europe VI (2023) and Asia V (2023) private equity funds now represent more than $27 billion of committed capital. The firm’s flagship fund strategy targets investments across the consumer, healthcare, industrials, services, and technology sectors. This marks one of the largest private equity megafund closes of the year.   • Lee Equity Partners, LLC announces investment in Arcadian Risk Capital. Arcadian, a specialty managing general agent, offers services in the selection and structuring of risk management insurance products. They have operations in Bermuda, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The investment will be used to accelerate the company’s continued expansion into new lines of business and new geographies. Arcadian’s management team will retain a significant ownership stake, and minority investor SiriusPoint will sell its entire 49% stake to Lee Equity.   • AE Industrial Partners, LP portfolio company Firefly Aerospace acquires SciTec, Inc. Firefly Aerospace, a manufacturer of rockets and other space technologies, will acquire SciTec in a deal worth roughly $855 million. SciTec develops missile defense, remote sensing, and command and control systems, and earlier this year, the U.S. Space Force awarded the company a $259 million contract. Firefly aims to use SciTec’s capabilities to enhance the ability to deliver integrated, software-defined solutions for critical national security missions. AE Industrial Partners made its initial investment in Firefly Aerospace in early 2022. SDC Capital Partners, founded in 2017, is a global digital infrastructure investment firm with approximately $7.8 billion in assets under management. Its commercial and engineering teams develop large-scale data center capacity for hyperscalers. To date, SDC has completed more than 25 investments across North America, South America, and Europe. Thoma Bravo sees opportunity in this space and aims to leverage SDC’s disciplined asset selection and operational model to accelerate the digital transformation of the global economy.
