That’s a wrap on an incredible week! We finished things off at the University of Waterloo with a fantastic Further Education Fair and an engaging info session, featuring a hands-on suturing workshop organized with the UWaterloo Pre-Med Society and Neuroscience Association. It was amazing to connect with so many students exploring their paths toward medicine. We also had a great time partnering with the Student Dermatology Group at the University of Toronto for an afternoon filled with learning, great conversations, and a fun trivia. The enthusiasm and curiosity everyone brought made both events such a highlight of the week. What a week it’s been! We had an incredible time at Queen’s University and a series of great events in Calgary at the end of last week. This was followed by engaging and inspiring days at the University of Guelph, Brock University, and Wilfrid Laurier University, and we’re finishing off this week’s events at the University of Waterloo tomorrow. At every campus, one thing has really stood out: the shared passion for medicine and the curiosity around pathways to residency in Canada and the U.S. It’s been amazing meeting so many students who are driven to make their dream of becoming a doctor a reality. This past week provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with aspiring physicians at two events: the University of British Columbia (UBC) Graduate & Professional Schools Fair on September 24, and the Medicine4Youth UBC pre-med chapter info session and suture clinic on September 25.   It was inspiring to meet students eager to learn about the medical school journey, ask questions and explore their career options.
