Earlier this week, our Town Hall Crossing build site was buzzing with activity as construction kicked off on four new single-family homes. With the foundations in place, we were thrilled to welcome volunteers back to the site, hammers swinging and hearts full! This exciting progress is only possible because of your generous support. Every nail, every wall, and every home starts with you, our incredible Habitat community. Located on Sun Prairie’s east side, Town Hall Crossing is a beautiful 62-acre neighborhood at the northwest corner of Town Hall Drive and State Highway 19. Once completed, it will include 118 single-family homes, with 40% proudly owned by Habitat homeowners, helping even more families achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. Interested in volunteering? We'd love to have you on site! Sign up today at https://lnkd.in/gUX7PzWs.

Please join us in giving a warm Habitat welcome to our new Construction Manager, Eric Lindberg! Eric brings a wealth of experience and passion for homebuilding to our team. His favorite part about working at Habitat is watching our incredible volunteers come together on site to build quality homes for future homeowners. “Our volunteers are amazing, and it is great to see what they accomplish on a daily basis,” he shares. Before joining Habitat, Eric worked as a Project Manager for a custom home builder, where he helped create beautiful homes across Dane, Columbia, and Sauk counties. He credits his former mentor, who taught him everything about homebuilding, as a lasting inspiration. Outside of work, Eric has plenty of passions and fun facts to share: - Happily married for 12+ years and proud dad to a son who will turn 1 in December. - Proud dog dad to Willoe, his Aussie Shepherd mix. - Lifelong hockey player who started skating at age 3 and now travels part-time with Pure Hockey fitting hundreds of kids nationwide with equipment through an NHL-supported program. - Music fan with a love for punk rock and metal. - Co-founder of Madison Rec Hockey, a nonprofit roller hockey league serving over 150 players in the community. We’re thrilled to have Eric on board and can’t wait to see the impact he’ll make! Next time you’re on the build site please be sure to say hello and give Eric a warm welcome!

Thank you so much to Sub-Zero Group, Inc. for rolling up their sleeves and working hand in hand to help us build the frame for a Habitat home this past Saturday on the Square! The sound of hammers echoing and walls rising beneath the autumn sun filled Martin Luther King Jr. Drive with hope and possibility, right alongside the energy of the Madison Farmers’ Market. Because of dedicated partners like you, we’re not just building houses — we’re building homes, futures, and community. Thank you! Thank you to Kent Sweitzer, Habitat's volunteer photographer!
