When earning six figures is considered “low-income,” the #BayArea clearly faces a housing crisis unlike anywhere else. According to the California Department of Housing and Community Development, individuals in San Francisco making up to $109,700 annually—and couples earning up to $125,350—are now classified as low-income. Similar income thresholds exist in #Marin and #SanMateo counties Numbers like these underscore the urgent need for affordable homeownership solutions.
