On July 4, 2025, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB) established the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), allocating $50 billion in federal funding to strengthen rural healthcare nationwide and help offset an anticipated $1 trillion in Medicaid reductions over the next decade. With final applications due on November 5, now is the time to take advantage of this transformative opportunity. At Hagerty, we have extensive experience supporting public health and healthcare systems—helping clients identify, secure, and manage more than $95 billion in federal and state grants. Our team can assist states in maximizing the RHTP through grant writing and application support, program design, and program and grant management services. Additionally, states may allocate up to 10 percent of awarded funds for administrative expenses, allowing Hagerty’s support to be funded directly through the program. From training employees to recognize phishing attempts to developing an Incident Response Plan (IRP), "Building a Cyber Strong America" emphasizes the importance of protecting your organization’s data and strengthening your community’s digital defenses. Over the weekend, communities across the country were impacted by severe storms, resulting in significant infrastructure damage. In western Alaska, coastal homes were swept off their foundations as the remnants of Typhoon Halong brought hurricane-force winds and catastrophic flooding. At the same time, a nor'easter traveled up the East Coast, bringing excessive rain, strong winds, and coastal flooding from the Carolinas to New York. As response efforts continue, it is important to remember that the risks from storms do not always end once the weather clears. Effective preparedness involves taking the right steps before a storm and knowing how to respond in its aftermath. By having a plan in place and staying aware of potential post-storm hazards, individuals and families can significantly reduce the risk of harm. Below are a few safety tips to help protect against post-storm hazards. This week, communities from Florida to the Mid-Atlantic have been impacted by major coastal flooding as a result of powerful king tides—some of the highest tides of the year. Combined with strong onshore winds, these tides have inundated roads and homes and continue to threaten low-lying areas along the Southeast coast. Additionally, officials are monitoring the potential development of a nor’easter later this week, which could bring heavy rain, coastal flooding, and strong winds to already saturated areas—further compounding impacts across the region. Given these conditions, it is important for households to understand their local risks and take proactive steps to safeguard against potential impacts. Explore the flood safety tips below and visit Ready.gov for more information: https://lnkd.in/dXY_CWCB #EmergencyManagement #Preparedness #Floods #Flooding
