Today, as we recognize World Mental Health Day, we take this opportunity to thank you, our dedicated Hard Rock Team Members for your incredible support of this important cause. We are reminded that 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health condition. Mental health is becoming better understood and we all can help to reduce the stigma. Mental health includes our emotional, physical, and social well-being and at Hard Rock, we are proud to continue to shine a light on this subject and partner with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to help make a difference. Let’s continue to remind others that no one is alone and there is HOPE.

A wave of excitement and fun hit the boardwalk on Friday when Hard Rock Team Members, and the Management Team volunteered for the kick-off of the annual Pinktober Dunk Tank Event! A huge thanks to everyone who cheered, volunteered, and made a splash — together, we’re making a difference. The event was a huge success and helped to raise over $6,000.00 for Breast Cancer and the American Cancer Society. The Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City, turned up the heat with Hard Rock’s Executive from Kuro, Chef Leslie at the first Celebrity Chef Cooking Class Series for 8 & 9 year-olds, on Sept 17th! Chef Leslie & Sous Chef Samantha Rodriquez offered a hands-on lesson for making chicken meatballs with spaghetti, homemade Caesars salad with toasted garlic bread! Sampling their own creations was the highlight of the event! The aspiring young chefs also received a special Hard Rock gift that was a backpack with hat & scarf to keep them toasty this winter. On behalf of Hard Rock Atlantic City, we are so proud to announce that we have raised over $300,000 dollars that will be used for research, education, advocacy, and loss support programs for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention - the leading national organization dedicated to preventing loss of life by suicide. Thank you to Mike Sampson, our Team Members, and the community for their generous support.

Today, we honor the sacrifices made for the lives lost and the resilience shown on September 11. Let us never forget.

For the sixth year, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City sponsored the Out of the Darkness Walk benefitting the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. Hard Rock Atlantic City’s fundraising efforts resulted in the Atlantic-Cape Walk becoming the largest Walk in the state of New Jersey. This year, the Atlantic-Cape Walk exceeded over $1 million raised for this important cause. 💙

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City donated $25,000 to the Hope Exists Foundation on behalf of the Boardwalk 1000 foundation in recognition of National Overdose Awareness Day on Sunday, August 31. The Hope Exists Foundation is dedicated to transforming lives and communities by supporting individuals facing substance use, mental health challenges, overdose prevention and response, chronic homelessness, food insecurity, and the unique needs of veterans and their families. The organization provides comprehensive support and essential resources through community outreach, peer support, and case management.

We are extremely proud to announce that Kuro has been named the BEST Hotel Restaurant in the COUNTRY by USAToday 🥇 This marks the 5th year in a row that Kuro has ranked in the top 3 for this amazing achievement. Congratulations to Chef Leslie & the entire Kuro team on this honorable title!

Hard Rock Atlantic City was proud to host the 4th annual Heart of Surfing event this past Saturday. Our team members volunteered to help children with Autism and learning disabilities learn how to surf. Hard Rock also donated $5,000 to Heart of Surfing, along with a $5,000 donation to the Eagles Autism Foundation. 🏄
