Leaders in breaking barriers and making history, the world famous, Harlem Globetrotters today formally announced they will be hosting their first-ever open tryout on Wednesday, October 22 at Lakepoint Sports in Cartersville, Georgia. The approximately 30 men and women are being selected from a pool of hundreds who have sent in video in the past few months, in addition to recruitment efforts of elite talent being made through relationships with the global college and professional basketball community. The Globetrotters team was out in full-force in Atlanta to help celebrate our 100-year touring milestone. Keith Dawkins, President of the Harlem Globetrotters and Herschend Entertainment Studios, along with Hammer, Wham, Splash, Torch, and Globie brought the excitement to a ballroom filled with venue partners and other industry professionals.
