Shine Away 2025 was pure magic ✨ — two days defined by connection, courage, and the power of women showing up — for themselves and for each other. From the first hello to the last standing ovation, the joy was palpable. Reese Witherspoon opened with heart, hustle, and inspiration, and over 70 amazing women graced our stages, each with their own unique perspective, experience and wisdom to share. Mariska Hargitay spoke about turning pain into purpose. Jennie Garth shared lessons on reinvention, Malin Åkerman on creative risk, and Laura Brown & Kristina O’Neill on finding power in setbacks. We laughed with Yvonne Orji and Lilly Singh, learned from Monica Lewinsky’s hard-earned wisdom, and were inspired by Sabrina Zohar’s call to “choose yourself.” Brittany Snow and Jaspre Guest shared the life-changing ripple of being brave enough to tell your story. Ali Wentworth, Molly Sims, and Allison Ellsworth called on us all to ditch perfectionism and redefine balance, ambition, and motherhood; and Jasmine Garnsworthy, Google’s Sissie H., and Jennifer Breheny Wallace explored how to balance our humanity with technology and A.I. Ellie Kemper and Angela Kinsey shared sweet stories about their decades-long friendship and how they prioritize showing up for each other, and we felt the impact of advocating for you and your family’s health with Chrissy Teigen. And book lovers from all over the world got to meet their favorite authors in the Reese’s Book Club shop. Beyond the stage, the AT&T Connection Plaza pulsed with possibility. Attendees packed the Level Up Labs, refreshed résumés on the spot, jumped into Ask-A-Mentor chats, and left the Headshot Studio looking like the CEO of their next chapter. Shine Away isn’t just an event; it’s a community — and this weekend proved how life-changing feeling seen can be. The live-action feature inspired by the iconic micro-doll toys will star Lily Collins, who will also produce through her company Case Study Films. Jordan Weiss and Dan Brier, who previously teamed up on Sweethearts, will pen the script. Two-time Oscar nominee Robbie Brenner will produce on behalf of Mattel, Inc., and Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter will produce for Hello Sunshine, along with Emily Ferenbach as an EP. ✨ Calling all Nashville-based storytellers and story lovers! ✨ We're so excited to share that Hello Sunshine Collective member Ali Truwit's documentary, "Stronger Than You Think," is premiering at the Nashville Film Festival this Sunday, September 21 🎉 The documentary, helmed by filmmakers Janice Molinari, Melissa Forman, Allyson J. Davis, and Impakt Partners, follows Ali's journey from losing part of her leg in a shark attack to earning two silver medals at the Paris Paralympics just one year later. You'll watch as Ali and her community of steadfast supporters turn trauma into hope — and discover "what’s possible when resilience meets purpose."
