In partnership with Nike, we are excited to bring basketball back to Birmingham's Boutwell Auditorium for year number two! This year's event will now feature multiple collegiate programs from our own backyard in Alabama! We look forward to the energy that Alabama, Auburn, Samford and Alabama A&M will bring to this premiere event!

Congratulations to our Hibbett X Nike Run Team on this tremendous adventure! Our women's team and field leadership team conquered 13.1 miles this past weekend at the Nike After Dark Tour @2025! What an incredible feat and we're so proud of your unified efforts to do this together!

Last week, we celebrated the launch of the A’One in partnership with Nike in A'ja Wilson’s hometown of Columbia, SC. Girls from the area were invited to a mentorship moment led by ESPN Analyst, Andraya Carter, and South Carolina women’s legendary basketball coach, Dawn Staley. The day featured mentorship moments, team building, on-the-court activities, and more. Each of the nearly 40 participants left with a pair of A’One sneakers, Nike gear, and a signed copy of Coach Staley’s new book, “Uncommon Favor.” Hibbett and Nike capped the day with a $25,000 donation to the A’ja Wilson Foundation. Thank you to everyone involved for reminding us of the impact that can be made when organizations and individuals come together to uplift and inspire the next generation.

Last year, Duncanville High School was named our second F1rst String school in celebration of the launch of our “The Origin” series featuring Orlando Magic guard, Anthony Black. Tuesday night, we returned to proudly present Duncanville student athletes Ethan McKinney and Katelynn Price with the F1rst String scholarship. Thank you to Nike for your partnership in this program and for believing in the impact we can make together in our community!

Monday we had the distinct honor of announcing our Inaugural F1rst String College Scholarship recipients at Wenonah High School as part of their awards day. Congratulations to Makyla Williams and Isaiah Jackson for your dedication to serving your community, leadership on and off the court and commitment to academics. We can't wait to watch you grow in your collegiate career!

Our Grand Opening Celebrations look a little different this year and Q1 is off to an exciting start! We've opened new stores in Hammond, Kissimmee, Denton, Tucson, Houma and right here in Birmingham! To enhance our commitment to community and excellence, each celebration included a $3500 donation to local high schools in the area. We look forward to serving you for years to come!
