The property features over 7,000 square feet of meticulously designed indoor and outdoor amenity spaces, resulting in an ultra-creative, amenity-rich property. Great River Children's Museum, submitted by Savills Minneapolis: This 30,000+ SF adaptive reuse of a former bank, originally constructed in 1932, will be the second largest children’s museum in the state of Minnesota and will include eight core exhibits providing education and play for more than 500,000 children and adults annually from more than 60 school districts. Mounds View Family Dental, submitted by BDH: Mounds View Family Dental transformed three outdated suites into a vibrant, design-forward clinic that more than doubled its original size. Relocating just across the street, the project redefined dental care through bold aesthetics, culture storytelling, and cutting-edge technology. The Hall Lofts, submitted by RJM Construction: A $171 million development, the 550,000 SF project features 358 multifamily units and 42,000 SF of retail space. Given its landmark status and location, the project went through approval by the Minneapolis Heritage Preservation Commission and the National Park Service. The Watkins Building, submitted by Hillcrest Development, LLLP: A 66,000 SF redevelopment of the former Vision Loss Resources building. Having been underutilized for almost a decade and after a plan to demolish the building to construct apartments fell through, this project transformed the existing structure to create a vital hub for a mix of local commercial businesses. 📢 We want to hear the people’s choice! At Hillcrest Development, LLLP, we believe in building more than great commercial spaces, we’re also proud to help grow the next generation of real estate leaders. This summer, we were thrilled to welcome Britta Dueholm and Thomas Liechty to our internship program. Their curiosity, enthusiasm and drive brought fresh perspectives to our work and reaffirmed why investing in people is just as important as investing in properties. Britta returns to her senior year at University of Wisconsin-Madison studying Economics and Business. Thomas returns to his junior at the University of St. Thomas, double majoring in Real Estate and Marketing. Throughout the summer, they explored every aspect of our work, from stormwater systems and sustainability strategies to site plans, showings and tenant relations. They joined our teams on construction walk-thrus, property tours and budgeting sessions, and even gained valuable design insight thanks to the generous teams at Cushing Terrell and Tanek, who opened their doors for shadowing opportunities.
