We’re honored to have Hinkley lighting play a part in a truly iconic project in our hometown of Cleveland. 🌟 Downtown Cleveland is now home to a 18-foot stainless steel monument honoring Superman and his co-creators, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster who are from the Glenville neighborhood of Cleveland. Sculpted by renowned Cleveland artist David Deming, the tribute celebrates not only a cultural icon but also Cleveland’s lasting legacy of imagination and creativity. Our Porte lights were selected to illuminate the phone booth portion of the monument, bringing modern, artful lighting design to a symbol deeply rooted in comic book history. We’re proud to contribute to this meaningful piece of public art that shines a light—literally and figuratively—on Cleveland’s place in the Superman story.
