I'm so proud to share that Eyebot has raised $20 million in Series A funding, led by General Catalyst - an incredible match with the combined focus on healthcare innovation. All our previous major investors joined the round including Baukunst, AlleyCorp, Ubiquity Ventures, Village Global, Humba Ventures, Ravelin. We're also incredibly thankful to Akhil Paul of the Paul family and Helen Greiner (co-founder of iRobot) with the investment supporting the Boston robotics scene! But the real story here is the team. The incredible and dedicated group of engineers, clinicians, designers, and operations at Eyebot who wake up every day to tackle one of the biggest challenges in healthcare: access to vision care. Our mission is simple but bold: make vision care accessible to everyone, equally, at the touch of a button. The problem is massive — only 50% of Americans have vision insurance, and those in the lowest third of income are half as likely to go see a doctor. Nearly 30 million Americans walk around with blurry vision. This team has built a solution that is accurate, fast, and accessible for places people already go: retail, malls, universities, grocery stores. When we started the company, we looked at the scale of the problem and simply decided: “let’s solve this.” With this fast growing team, and their depth of experience and passion, that decision became more than a statement. It became part of our mission. This funding will allow us to expand to hundreds of new retail locations, grow our clinical and engineering teams, and strengthen partnerships with eye care professionals nationwide. Clear vision shouldn’t depend on months of waiting, high costs, or geographic luck. Thanks to this team and the participation of our investors, we’re one step closer to making vision care a reality for everyone. Here’s to the next chapter — powered by the Eyebot team. 🙌👓✨ #FundingNews #SeriesA #Eyebot #Teamwork #HealthcareInnovation #VisionCare #GeneralCatalyst
