Since 2012, we’ve been on a mission to empower people to grow, offering the best seed genetics, expert guidance, and a vibrant community to support cultivators of all levels. ILGM was founded by Robert Bergman, who started his journey with just five plants. After nearly two decades of growing experience — from industrial grows to home setups — he launched ILGM to share his passion and knowledge with the world’s cannabis community.   • Spotlight on Our Creators | Vanessa Lavorato (@VanessaMarigold) At ILGM, we’re honored to collaborate with creators who embody education, authenticity, and community. This week, we’re highlighting Vanessa Lavorato, a pioneer in cooking with cannabis and the author of How To Eat Weed And Have A Good Time. We first connected with Vanessa on our Home Grow Tour in Tempe, where she led an inspiring workshop and quickly became a true partner in our mission. Today, she’s producing content around our Seed to Kitchen campaign, spanning YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitch, showing how home growing can be accessible, fun, and rewarding.   • Why We Invest in Grower Education At ILGM, we believe that supporting growers goes far beyond supplying seeds. Education and empowerment are key to building a stronger cannabis community. We have introduced a Harvest Guide, a tool aimed at providing assistance to growers who find it hard to know the right time of harvest, which is one of the most challenging tasks of the cultivation of plants. The key factor for us is not just to get increased yields. It is about improving the level of grower's skills in the sector and helping the cultivation process to become more straightforward for everyone. The only way to do this is to merge science with practice. Thus, we convert plant biology findings, for instance, trichome development, to easy-to-follow applications that growers can carry out without doubt. Moreover, we collaborate with a lot of organizations and societies to share knowledge gained over the years in order to support the cannabis ecosystem. Home growers' successes lead to industry progress, so it benefits the entire cannabis ecosystem.
