Excited for the opportunity to give a presentation about strategic partnerships and philanthropy in fire service at Fire Rescue International hosted by International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC). I'll be leaning into my past experiences in the non-profit & social impact world, with a focus on community risk reduction projects (Danielle McNutt), unique collaboration models (Seth Schalet), large scale competition initiatives like XPRIZE (Andrea Santy), and meaningful nonprofit organizations like YogaShield® Yoga for First Responders® (YFFR) that get first responders to take action on their physical/mental health (Eric Brenneman, MPA). I’ll share proven models for collaboration, innovative funding, and neighborhood-scale community risk reduction.
