The Idaho Industrial Commission has an opening for a full-time legal associate. The Adjudication Legal Associate manages legal case files and provides direct support for the assigned workers' compensation and unemployment insurance Referees. This position is the first point of contact for the Referee and acts as a liaison between the Commission and the parties involved in a case to explain program regulations, requirements, policies, procedures, and available services, all while adhering to the Judicial Code of Ethics. The role operates with considerable independence, conducting legal research, electronic filing, case management, analyzing and preparing legal documents, and using information to make recommendations to Referees. The position requires extensive knowledge of department programs, objectives, and rules. The Idaho Industrial Commission has an immediate opening for a full-time Rehabilitation Administrative Assistant in our Coeur d'Alene office. This position is the initial point of contact for parties involved in the workers' compensation system, including claimants, medical providers, sureties, employers, and attorneys. This role also provides rehabilitation support to the field consultants of the Industrial Commission Rehabilitation Division. Successful candidates will be responsible for creating and maintaining rehabilitation case files. They will research, analyze, and compile accurate case information through independent contact with sureties, medical providers, and claimants. Additionally, the role involves providing clerical support to our compliance investigators.
